Strangely enough, although the focus of this website is on the filming locations, it’s the cast gallery that gets the most hits! Well, I suppose that’s not such a shock when our Merlin cast are such a beautiful, talented and incredibly nice bunch. We thought we should give our visitors what they want, and provide another cast gallery page.
We thought it worthwhile to start a page listing any events or conventions at which we know Merlin cast or crew will appear. We’ll keep this information as up-to-date and correct as we can, but of course it’s always worth checking the official sites before making any firm plans.

It now seems certain that filming in Pierrefonds in September will be cut short, just as the filming in June was. What little we know is in this post!
Of course we love Merlin not only for the locations but for our beautiful, talented and lovely cast – not to mention our genius producers, directors, writers and crew! This gallery will feature photos of them at various public events in 2010, starting with the London Expo panel on 29 May.
Not only does Merlin have beautiful and intriguing locations, the show also has a beautiful and intriguing cast! I was lucky enough to see them all when I visited Pierrefonds in June 2009.

When we visited Pierrefonds in April 2010, I was lucky enough to take these photos of the cast, crew and extras during a few days and nights of filming. These are some of the better shots; there are a lot more available on the Merlin Locations Flickr group.
Gosh. So the Merlin Locations team spent most of last week in Pierrefonds, meeting up with old and new friends, and watching the Merlin cast and crew filming for season three. While I don’t go into a lot of detail, if you want to avoid spoilers stop reading now!
I am getting more and more queries about writing to the actors, so I thought I’d do a post about what addresses to use, and so on. If you would like to add any advice or tell us about your experiences in the comments, please feel free to do so.
